Personal Narrative This can be an essay about you and your interests, and why you think Chapin's STEM Project Lead The Way Magnet Program is the best school for you. (300-350 words) Make sure your name is on the personal narrative. D. Copies of reports, attendance & discipline records for grades 7 and 8. (or the past 2 years). Students need a combined average of 85% or higher in core classes (English, Social Studies, Math, Science). E. STAAR and EOC scores (or other standardized test) for 7th and 8th grades. TRANSFER STUDENTS:
2024-2025 REGISTRATION: ALL magnet students must go through the new 2024-2025 school year enrollment process in the spring of 2024. https://www.episd.org/enroll
Course selection is not the same thing as school registration. Stay in contact with your counselor and magnet coordinator regarding appropriate and timely enrollment and course selection schedules.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students applying for the program must include PAP/OnRamps/Dual Credit/AP Mathematics and Science courses for all four years. Candidates must be in good standing to meet or exceed a cumulative core GPA of 85 for 7th and 8th grades.
Applications for the 2024-2025 year will be processed beginning October 7, 2023. We will continue to review applications through July, 2024 and accept students based on overall course availability on campus. For more information, please contact the Magnet Coordinator.
